Govind Karjol to contest from Chitradurga, BJP denies ticket to sitting MP

Bengaluru: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its seventh list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, it has chosen candidate for the Chitradurga Lok Sabha seat. The incumbent Member of Parliament, Narayanaswamy, has been denied the ticket, and instead, former Deputy Chief Minister Govind Karjol has been named as the party’s candidate for the upcoming elections.
